100 Good Guys recognizes 3 that matter

by Ron Diner

At the September 17th 100 Good Guys meeting, three community organizations focusing on what matters to make lives better were recognized.

Congratulations to Parc Center for Disabilities and their Disabilities Supported Employment Services program that was awarded $10,000.  This program empowers adults with intellectual and development disabilities to secure and maintain real jobs.

Also receiving recognition and rewards were The Kind Mouse and The Family Center on Deafness.

The Kind Mouse distributes food to kids in need through 11 Pinellas County Schools and 20 community  organizations.  It’s hard to believe in this day and age, with so much wealth in our country, that we still have kids who might not eat without help from The Kind Mouse.

The Family Center on Deafness is focused on helping to empower Pinellas County’s deaf community by providing opportunities to enhance communication, education, and independence.

Making lives better!!!
