Story Building Game

A great opportunity to make a positive impact! Here’s a fun and engaging activity you could try in 20 minutes:

Objective: Use creativity and teamwork to build a story together.

Materials:

  • A notebook and pen or a digital device for writing.

Steps:

  1. Start the Story: Begin with a simple and open-ended sentence like “Once upon a time, in a land far, far away…”
  2. Take Turns: Take turns adding one sentence to the story. Encourage him to be as imaginative and creative as possible.
  3. Build the Plot: As you go back and forth, try to build on each other’s ideas, introducing characters, settings, and plot twists.
  4. Wrap it Up: After 15 minutes, start steering the story towards a conclusion. Make sure it has a satisfying ending within the 20-minute timeframe.
  5. Reflect: Spend the last few minutes discussing the story. Ask questions like “What part did you like the most?” or “If we had more time, what would you add to the story?”

This activity not only fosters creativity and collaboration but also gives you a chance to bond and understand each other’s thinking. Plus, it’s a lot of fun! What do you think?
